The Paynesville Bulldogs basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Litchfield Dragons to 41 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kimball for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. Paynesville will battle a Cubs team coming off a 66-47 league loss to Annandale (Annandale, MN). The Cubs record now stands at 5-9.
The Dragons (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Rockford (Rockford, MN). The Rockets enter the AA Section 5 contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Rockford ran past Blake (Minneapolis, MN), 55-44, in a non-league contest.
