In Tuesday's league outing, the St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Mankato West Scarlets (Mankato, MN), by a margin of 67-31.
The Saints (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Tigers go into the AAA Section 2 outing with a 10-1 record. In their last outing, Marshall smashed Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN), 82-61, in a non-league outing.
The Scarlets now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Mankato East for a AAA Section 2 outing on Friday, January 12. Mankato West will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 65-54 non-league loss to Mayo (Rochester, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 7-6.
