The Flames (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Central Christian (Kidron, OH). The Comets go into the Mid-Buckeye outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Central Christian was tipped by Temple Christian (Mansfield, OH), 42-38, in a non-league match.

With the defeat, Mapleton moves to 7-5 on the year. The Mounties host South Central (Greenwich, OH) to meet the Trojans in a Firelands match on Friday, January 12. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 8-4. South Central lost 64-32 in their recent league match against New London (New London, OH)
