Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host McDonogh 35 Roneagles (New Orleans, LA), 44-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Willow upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Christ Episcopal School lost 52-13 in their recent non-league bout against Morris Jeff (New Orleans, LA)

Next up, the Roneagles clash with the John Ehret Patriots (Marrero, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. McDonogh 35 will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record.
