Utah High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge thwarts Skyridge

January 9, 2024: Lehi, UT 84043

The Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) basketball knocked off the host Skyridge Falcons (Lehi, UT), 50-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Sentinels (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region 2 test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Herriman notched a victory over Layton (Layton, UT), 55-40, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Westlake for a 6A Region 3 test on Friday, January 12. Skyridge will encounter a Thunder squad coming off a 63-10 non-league win over Granger (West Valley City, UT). The Thunder record now stands at 9-4.
