Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pineville Rebels (Pineville, LA), 49-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ouachita Christian upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Claiborne Christian (West Monroe, LA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 22-0. Claiborne Christian won 56-32 in their recent non-league bout against St. Frederick (Monroe, LA)

Next up, the Rebels clash with the Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) in a 5A District 2 bout, on Friday, January 12. Pineville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record.
