The Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) basketball nipped the host Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD), 39-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Battlers (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Aberdeen Christian was tipped by Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD), 40-34, in a non-league test.

The Buffalos now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they host Lyman for a non-league test on Thursday, January 11. Stanley County will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 72-50 non-league win over Kadoka (Kadoka, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 6-0.
