In Tuesday's league outing, the Vanguard College Prep Vikings (Waco, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Shelton Chargers (Dallas, TX), by a count of 66-26.

The Vikings (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Prince of Peace (Carrollton, TX). The Eagles go into the TAPPS 4A District 2 outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Prince of Peace was crushed by Brook Hill (Bullard, TX), 40-34, in a league outing.

The Chargers now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they host McKinney Christian Academy for a TAPPS 4A District 2 outing on Thursday, January 11. Shelton will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 26-25 league win over Covenant (Dallas, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-10.
