South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN), 77-47 in a league bout.

With the win, South Knox upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Spartans host North Daviess (Elnora, IN) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-13. North Daviess lost 50-37 in their recent league bout against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Wood Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN).
