The University Prep Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Voyageur Academy Cougar to 28 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Henry Ford Academy for a Charter contest on Friday, January 12. University Prep will battle a Navigators team coming off a 44-15 league loss to Michigan Collegiate (Warren, MI). The Navigators record now stands at 2-8.

The Cougar (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ecorse (Ecorse, MI). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Ecorse was routed by Rose Leadership Academy (Detroit, MI), 58-13, in a non-league contest.
