Doral Academy Firebirds (Doral, FL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Downtown Doral Dolphins (Doral, FL), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Firebirds face the St. Brendan Sabres (Miami, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Doral Academy will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Sabres enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Lourdes Academy (Miami, FL).
The Dolphins now have a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they host Varela for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. Downtown Doral will face a Vipers team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Miami Beach (Miami Beach, FL). The Vipers record now stands at 7-5.
