Handley Judges (Winchester, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA), 45-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Handley upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Judges host Fauquier (Warrenton, VA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Fauquier Falcons (Warrenton, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 41-24 non-league loss to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA).
