The Newcomb Skyhawks basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Navajo Pine Warriors to 42 in the Skyhawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Skyhawks now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thoreau for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16.

The Warriors (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ramah (Ramah, NM). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
