In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Paradise Valley Trojans soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the North Canyon Rattlers.
The Trojans (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Ironwood (Glendale, AZ). The Eagles come into the 5A Northwest battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Ironwood nudged Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Rattlers (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Central (Phoenix, AZ). The Bobcats come into the 5A Metro battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Central nudged Westview (Avondale, AZ), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
