In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Acadiana Rams basketball team scored a close 49-47 triumph over the Tioga Indians.
The Rams (14-18) will now prepare for their contest against Rayne (Rayne, LA). The Wolves go into the non-league contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, Rayne was tipped by Carencro (Lafayette, LA), 46-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) in a 4A District 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Tioga will attempt to better on its 17-9 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 5-17 record after their 71-54 non-league loss to Oak Hill (Hineston, LA).
