Maryland High School Basketball - Calverton nips Rockbridge Academy

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Calverton basketball team scored a close 37-35 win over the Rockbridge Academy Scots.
The (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Avalon (Wheaton, MD). The Black Knights come into the Maryland Independent contest with a 6-8 record.
In their next game, the Scots battle the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 13. Rockbridge Academy will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Orioles come into the contest with a 10-0 record after their 56-46 non-league win over Heritage Academy (Hagerstown, MD).
