Illinois High School Basketball - Routt Catholic sneaks past Carrollton

The Routt Catholic Rockets basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Carrollton Hawks to 42 in the Rockets league triumph on Thursday.

The Rockets now possess a 15-1 record. They play next when they travel to Griggsville-Perry for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Routt Catholic will play a Tornadoes team coming off a 39-31 league win over North Greene (White Hall, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Carrollton falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 9-4. Greenfield/Northwestern won 66-52 in their recent league game against Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL)
