The Redskins (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Cherokees come into the 3A District 5 challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, South-Doyle trounced Powell (Powell, TN), 60-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Apostolic Christian Academy Flames (Maryville, TN) in a Freelance challenge, on Friday, January 10. Concord Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Flames come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 79-48 non-league loss to Apostolic Christian (Knoxville, TN).
