The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Salem Witches (Salem, MA) and the host Danvers Falcons (Danvers, MA), observed Salem's basketball team knock off Danvers by a score of 65-54.

The Witches (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Swampscott (Swampscott, MA). The Big Blue come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Swampscott prevailed over Marblehead (Marblehead, MA), 79-63, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners (Peabody, MA) in a Northeastern - Large challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Danvers will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
