The Varsity Opponent defeated the host DaVinci Academy Dragons basketball squad by a final score of 97-78 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the clash with the Bible Baptist Eagles (Griffith, IN) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 9. Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 280-990 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 59-38 non-league loss to City Baptist School (Hammond, IN).
