The Lisbon Lions basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Durant Wildcats to 38 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Edgewood-Colesburg for a Tri-Rivers game on Friday, January 10. Lisbon will play a Vikings team coming off a 66-39 league loss to Alburnett (Alburnett, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Durant falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Danville (Danville, IA) to play the Bears in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Bears go into the game with a record of 4-7. Danville won 73-52 in their recent league game against New London (New London, IA)
