Kentucky High School Basketball - Floyd Central trounced by Johnson Central

The Floyd Central Jaguars basketball squad (Eastern, KY), was crushed 86-59 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY)

With the victory, Johnson Central advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY) to meet the Hornets in a District 57 battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Hornets enter the battle with a record of 4-6.

The Jaguars now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Powell County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. Floyd Central will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 58-57 non-league loss to Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 8-2.
