The Comets (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Park Christian (Moorhead, MN). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Park Christian was routed by Ada-Borup (Ada, MN), 55-43, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Pillager Huskies (Pillager, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. New York Mills will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 57-53 non-league loss to Little Falls (Little Falls, MN).
