Minnesota High School Basketball - Mayer Lutheran overwhelms Hope Academy

The Mayer Lutheran Crusaders basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host Hope Academy to 55 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Crusaders now have a 5-7 record. They play next when they host United Christian Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Mayer Lutheran will confront a Eagles team coming off a 79-53 non-league loss to Heritage Christian (Karlstad, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Hope Academy falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The host Christ's Household of Faith (St. Paul, MN) to confront the Lions in a A Section 4 game on Friday, January 10. The Lions go into the game with a record of 2-4.
