The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Juniata Indians (Mifflintown, PA) and the visiting Upper Dauphin Area Trojans (Elizabethville, PA), observed Juniata's basketball team knock off Upper Dauphin Area by a score of 74-59.

The Indians (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA). The Tigers come into the Tri-Valley challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, East Juniata was knocked off by Millersburg (Millersburg, PA), 57-54, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils (Shenandoah, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Upper Dauphin Area will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 59-43 league loss to Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA).
