Alaska High School Basketball - Susitna Valley sneaks past Kotzebue

The Susitna Valley Rams basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Kotzebue Huskies to 64 in the Rams non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rams now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Unalakleet for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Susitna Valley will play a Wolfpack team coming off a 69-60 non-league win over Shaktoolik (Shaktoolik, AK). The Wolfpack record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Kotzebue falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Nome-Beltz (Nome, AK) to play the Nanooks in a 3A Western game on Friday, January 10. The Nanooks enter the match with a record of 3-0. Nome-Beltz won 55-43 in their recent non-league match against Philomath (Philomath, OR)
