In Thursday's league test, the Line Mountain Eagles (Herndon, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Newport Buffaloes (Newport, PA), by a score of 65-33.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Greenwood Wildcats (Millerstown, PA) in a Tri-Valley test, on Monday, January 13. Line Mountain will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 9-3 record after their 51-38 league win over Susquenita (Duncannon, PA).

The Buffaloes (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Upper Dauphin Area (Elizabethville, PA). The Trojans come into the Tri-Valley test with a 1-9 record.
