The South Kingstown Rebels basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Narragansett Mariners to 57 in the Rebels league triumph on Thursday.

The Rebels now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to La Salle Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. South Kingstown will confront a Rams team coming off a 77-59 league win over Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Rams record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Narragansett falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to confront the Avengers in a Division II game on Monday, January 13. The Avengers go into the game with a record of 3-7. East Greenwich lost 56-44 in their recent league game against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI)
