Washington High School Basketball - Sumner holds off Spanaway Lake

The Sumner Spartans basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Spanaway Lake Sentinels to 61 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Olympia for a 4A South Puget Sound - South game on Saturday, January 11. Sumner will confront a Bears team coming off a 79-60 non-league win over Rogers (Puyallup, WA). The Bears record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Spanaway Lake falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Puyallup (Puyallup, WA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11.
