In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Masterman basketball team scored a close 47-41 win over the Baldwin Bears .
The (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Philadelphia, PA). The Lancers come into the Philadelphia Public - Independence contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Central edged Mastery Charter Hardy Williams (Philadelphia, PA), 60-22, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic Friars/Pandas (Drexel Hill, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Baldwin will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Friars/Pandas come into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 53-36 league loss to Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA).
