The Balko Bison (Balko, OK) basketball toppled the visiting Cherokee Chiefs (Cherokee, OK), 46-34 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bison now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Seiling for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Balko will play a Wildcats team coming off a 77-15 non-league win over Newkirk (Newkirk, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Cherokee falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Buffalo (Buffalo, OK) to play the Bison in a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Buffalo won 35-28 in their recent non-league bout against Copan (Copan, OK)
