With the victory, Cape Fear Academy advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Hurricanes travel to Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC) to face the Patriots in a NCISAA Coastal Plain match on Tuesday, January 14. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 10-3. Arendell Parrott Academy won 57-21 in their recent non-league match against Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC)

The Knights now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilson Prep for a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. Greenfield will face a Tigers squad coming off a 60-35 league win over Weldon (Weldon, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 10-1.
