The Mustangs (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodside (Woodside, CA). The Wildcats come into the Peninsula - Ocean challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Woodside was routed by El Camino (South San Francisco, CA), 42-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Comets encounter the Overfelt Royals (San Jose, CA) in a Blossom Valley - West Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. James Lick will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 60-18 non-league loss to Willow Glen (San Jose, CA).
