Ohio High School Basketball - Shawnee nips Celina

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Shawnee Indians (Lima, OH) and the host Celina Bulldogs (Celina, OH), observed Shawnee's basketball team edge Celina by a margin of 45-42.

The Indians (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson (Delphos, OH). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson was tipped by Columbus Grove (Columbus Grove, OH), 57-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the New Knoxville Rangers (New Knoxville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Celina will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 55-45 league win over St. John's (Delphos, OH).
