Ohio High School Basketball - Chalker bests Mathews

The Chalker Wildcats basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting Mathews Mustangs to 24 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pymatuning Valley for a non-league game on Monday, January 13. Chalker will confront a Lakers team coming off a 63-27 non-league win over St. John (Ashtabula, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Mathews falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Bristol (Bristolville, OH) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, January 13. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 7-6. Bristol lost 50-16 in their recent non-league game against Maplewood (Cortland, OH)
