Colorado High School Basketball - Custer County routed by Sanford

Sanford Mustangs (Sanford, CO) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Custer County Bobcats (Westcliffe, CO), 63-7 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Sanford advances its record to 8-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM) to face the Lobos in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Lobos enter the match with a record of 1-12. Escalante lost 67-17 in their recent non-league match against Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM)

The Bobcats now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evangel Christian Academy for a non-league match on Friday, January 10. Custer County will face a Eagles squad coming off a 54-22 non-league win over Cotopaxi (Cotopaxi, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
