In Thursday's non-league test, the Foothills Christian Knights (El Cajon, CA) basketball squad defeated the host High Tech CV Bruins (Chula Vista, CA), by a final score of 42-28.

Next, the Knights clash with the Coastal Academy Stingrays (Oceanside, CA) in a Sunset test, on Tuesday, January 14. Foothills Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Stingrays come into the test with a 5-4 record after their 38-21 non-league win over Bonsall (Bonsall, CA).

The Bruins (3-5) will now prepare for their test against San Ysidro (San Diego, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, San Ysidro went down by Orange Glen (Escondido, CA), 29-24, in a non-league test.
