In Thursday's non-league test, the The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD) basketball squad knocked off the host Glenelg Country Dragons (Ellicott City, MD), by a score of 66-55.
Next, the Tartans encounter the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) in a Washington Catholic test, on Tuesday, January 14. The Academy of the Holy Cross will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record.
The Dragons (1-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Paul's Girls (Brooklandville, MD). The Gators come into the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, St. Paul's Girls was defeated by John Carroll (Bel Air, MD), 54-33, in a league outing.
