Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Griffith Panthers (Griffith, IN), 49-25 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Munster advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN) to face the Bombers in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Bombers enter the match with a record of 15-1. Rensselaer Central won 56-30 in their recent non-league match against North White (Monon, IN)
The Panthers now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheeler for a Greater South Shore match on Tuesday, January 14. Griffith will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 56-37 non-league loss to Kouts (Kouts, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-12.
