In Thursday's league contest, the host Riverside Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 50-9 win over the Griswold Tigers.
The Bulldogs (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Treynor (Treynor, IA). The Cardinals come into the Western Iowa contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Treynor smashed Tri-Center (Neola, IA), 65-29, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Bedford Bulldogs (Bedford, IA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Griswold will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 48-37 non-league loss to Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA).
