Nebraska High School Basketball - Meridian knocked off by McCool Junction

In Thursday's non-league test, the McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) basketball squad knocked off the host Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), by a score of 51-42.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Giltner Hornets (Giltner, NE) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 16. McCool Junction will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record.

The Mustangs (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE). The Huskies come into the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Shelby-Rising City went down by High Plains (Polk, NE), 35-32, in a non-league test.
