The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) and the host Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN), observed West Central Area's basketball team overwhelm Osakis by a margin of 64-40.

The Knights (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Thunderhawks come into the non-league challenge with a 6-9 record.

In their next game, the Silverstreaks battle the Kimball Cubs (Kimball, MN) in a AA Section 6 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Osakis will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 52-37 non-league win over Eden Valley-Watkins (Eden Valley, MN).
