In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Perkins-Tryon Demons basketball team scored a good 40-27 triumph over the Stroud Tigers.
The Demons (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Preston (Preston, OK). The Pirates go into the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Preston was topped by Morris (Morris, OK), 53-19, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Haskell Haymakers (Haskell, OK) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Stroud will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Haymakers go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 69-26 non-league loss to Oktaha (Oktaha, OK).
