Indiana High School Basketball - Washington triumphant over Pike Central

January 9, 2025: Washington, IN 47501

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN) and the visiting Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN), observed Washington's basketball team overwhelm Pike Central by a score of 66-15.

The Hatchets (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Princeton (Princeton, IN). The Tigers come into the Pocket challenge with a 5-9 record.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Forest Park Rangers (Ferdinand, IN) in a Pocket challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Pike Central will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 50-40 non-league loss to Jasper (Jasper, IN).
