New York High School Basketball - Sharon Springs Central trounced by Schenevus Central

The Sharon Springs Central Spartans basketball squad (Sharon Springs, NY), was crushed 78-30 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Schenevus Central Dragons (Schenevus, NY)

With the victory, Schenevus Central advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Dragons host Richfield Springs Central (Richfield Springs, NY) to meet the Indians in a Section 4 Tri-Valley battle on Wednesday, January 15. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 5-2.

The Spartans now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hunter-Tannersville for a non-league battle on Friday, January 10. Sharon Springs Central will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 46-37 league win over Margaretville Central (Margaretville, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.
