The St. Albert Falcons basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting West Monona Spartans to 31 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now possess a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Harlan for a Hawkeye Ten game on Friday, January 10. St. Albert will confront a Cyclones team coming off a 55-44 league win over Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, West Monona falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Spartans host River Valley (Correctionville, IA) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 5-5. River Valley won 62-32 in their recent non-league game against Storm Lake St. Mary (Storm Lake, IA)
