In Thursday's league contest, the host Mooresville Pioneers basketball team scored a close 44-39 triumph over the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs.
The Pioneers (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN). The Braves go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Grizzly Cubs battle the Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN) in a contest, on Saturday, January 18. Franklin Community will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
