The Northfield Nighthawks basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Mullen Mustangs to 32 in the Nighthawks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Nighthawks now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Rangeview for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14.

With the loss, Mullen falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 8-0. Regis Jesuit won 72-13 in their recent non-league game against Chatfield (Littleton, CO)
