In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Deer Valley Skyhawks soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Bradshaw Mountain Bears.

The Skyhawks (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ). The Bulldogs enter the 4A West Valley outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Goldwater was edged by Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ), 2-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Bears confront the Lee Williams Volunteers (Kingman, AZ) in a 4A Grand Canyon outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Bradshaw Mountain will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Volunteers enter the outing with a 5-3 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Eastmark (Mesa, AZ).
