The Warroad Warriors ice hockey team scored 9 points and held the visiting Crookston Pirates to 1 in the Warriors league victory on Thursday.
The Warriors now own a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hermantown for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Warroad will encounter a Hawks team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 8-4.
With the defeat, Crookston moves to 4-5 on the season. The Pirates host Little Falls (Little Falls, MN) to encounter the Flyers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Flyers go into the bout with a record of 6-3.
